The Mind Connection: A New Path to Healing

At The Mind Connection, we support healing by addressing the body as an interconnected system—where the nervous system, energy regulation, and overall balance play a foundational role in health. Through natural, non-invasive therapies, we work with both people and pets to promote resilience, regulation, and whole-body wellness.

While medication may be helpful in some cases, many individuals continue to struggle because root-level contributors to imbalance remain unaddressed. Our approach focuses on supporting the body’s natural regulatory processes, helping restore balance and function without relying on pharmaceuticals or masking symptoms.

Holistic Mental Health & Whole-Body Wellness for People and Pets

At The Mind Connection, we offer natural solutions that support root-level healing, balance, and resilience by addressing the whole body—not just symptoms. Our holistic approach focuses on key systems that influence brain and emotional health, including hormones, gut health, and other physical factors, helping both people and pets achieve lasting well-being without relying on medications.

Janelle Martin is a married mother of two children from Magnolia, Texas. She has a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Northern Iowa, an Accounting degree from LoneStar College, a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University and a Doctorate in Functional Medicine from Rockwell School of Holistic Medicine. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), and Dr. Amen Certified Brain Health Professional.

Janelle was formally trained as an IASIS Certified Provider (ICP) in August 2019. Through her extensive experience with IASIS MicroCurrent Neurofeedback, she has witnessed incredible transformations in her clients—especially when combined with traditional therapeutic approaches. She remains committed to keeping these services accessible for those seeking meaningful, lasting improvements in their quality of life.

Since 2008, Janelle has been on a personal and professional journey to explore natural ways of supporting the body’s ability to heal and regulate itself. This pursuit of knowledge—and a passion for non-toxic, root-level wellness—is what led to the creation of The Mind Connection. Over time, her work has expanded beyond brain-focused therapies to include Biofield Therapy, a whole-body, frequency-based approach that supports balance across physical, mental, and emotional systems. By addressing underlying imbalances and supporting the body’s natural communication pathways, she helps clients move toward greater stability and wellbeing.

Through this integrative approach, Janelle has witnessed clients reduce reliance on medications and experience renewed vitality in their daily lives. She is passionate about educating others on alternative options for supporting both brain and body health, and thoughtfully curates natural products within her office to complement the healing process.

Janelle is honored to serve her community by advocating for holistic, natural approaches to mental health and wellness. She offers counseling, Brainspotting, IASIS MicroCurrent Neurofeedback, and Biofield Therapy, along with high-quality supplements and non-toxic products designed to support optimal health—for both people and pets.
